Meeting Facilitation
Facilitation services promote honest, focused and results-oriented discussions among meeting participants. Many people are disheartened and pessimistic about the potential of meetings to yield meaningful results because of their experience of hours of unproductive meeting time. Strategies for Change brings tested methods and group processes to channel the creative and effective power of groups to achieve extraordinary results while fostering learning, collaboration and a commitment to change.

The Process
Typically, the facilitation process begins with conversations with meeting sponsors and participants to clarify the central task and desired outcomes of their gathering. Based upon these conversations, Strategies for Change will design an agenda to achieve the group’s purposes in a manner that respects the culture and nature of the group while at the same time being appropriately challenging. Consultation with the organizers regarding location, logistics and other factors also contributes to the success of their meeting or retreat.

Anne facilitated a year long Board-Staff Strategic Planning effort that resulted in a comprehensive plan for our organization.
