Promoting vitality and growth in mission-driven organizations
Leadership Coaching
Leadership Coaching serves to enhance the effectiveness of good leaders and unlock the potential of individuals who are challenged by their situation or the needs of the individuals and organizations they lead. Anne Gardon creates a safe, confidential environment for leaders to explore their perceptions, grapple with difficulties and think through their personal visions of success. Many of our clients use coaching in the context of broader organizational consultations to increase their effectiveness in leading change initiatives and expand their repertoire of leadership and managerial skills.

The Process
Depending upon the context in which the coaching relationship is established, we might begin with a formal assessment process aimed at gathering feedback and identifying goals for professional development. Alternatively, desired outcomes for coaching may be defined by specific circumstances and challenges in the work place. In either situation, the structure and format of the coaching sessions (in person and/or on the phone), their frequency and the duration of the consulting period are customized to achieve the individual’s unique needs. In any and all situations, the client can count on sensitive listening, honest feedback and a commitment to building upon the significant assets of the individual and the organization in which he/she is working.

Anne is a gifted coach, very astute, clear, directive, and gentle.
Anne’s patience, listening skills, and coaching style taught me even more than her feedback in the discussion. I hope to emulate what I have learned from her way of coaching in working with my staff.
